Established in the 19th Century, this London NHS hospital commissioned Dura Pump to replace failed valves on their waste tank pump station in the hospital grounds.
The pump station required new valves for each of its three pumps. This was a major job as the waste tank was full and had to be emptied before the team could work on the damaged valves.
Our engineers project managed the whole job and engaged in overseeing the tank being emptied before they could repair the pump valves.
Following a full inspection, two Isolation and one ball-type NRV valves were fitted to all three cleaned pumps and fully assessed before being signed off.
The new valves on these three pumps will help better control the flow of the liquid through the pumps and will regulate the pressure within the pump to avoid breakage.
The waste tank in the hospital is once again working at optimum performance. Servicing the hospital, its colleagues and patients.
